STEP ONE

Find your ideal property and negotiate the terms of the purchase. Your real estate agent will prepare the sale contract.

STEP TWO

Complete our Authority to Act form to receive expert assistance from our friendly conveyancing solicitors.

STEP THREE

Ask your real estate agent to send us your sale contract so we can check it and ensure it is fair to you. We will negotiate any changes on your behalf.

STEP FOUR

Once you’re satisfied with the sale contract, the real estate agent will receive your signature. This is the stage where you can expect to pay a deposit.

STEP FIVE

We’ll review the signed sale contract and send you a letter to outline what you need to do before Settlement. We’ll provide transfer duty forms for you to complete and let you know if there are optional searches you may find helpful.

STEP SIX

Now’s the time to organise your building inspections, pest inspections and due diligence investigations. This is also the stage when you’ll need to organise finance with your lender. Your lender will ask you to sign documents in preparation for Settlement.

STEP SEVEN

Our team will work hard to prepare for Settlement. We’ll conduct the standard searches and liaise with your lender.

STEP EIGHT

We’ll complete Settlement on your behalf. We’ll also contact the real estate agent to inform them that Settlement is complete.
